Important Note: My headless clamping system will probably not work with round core strings like Thomastik and perhaps La Bella. The clamps hold the windings, but the core most likely will slip. This is a known issue with headless basses, and also basses with locking tuners. I have had no problems with Hex Core strings like Dunlap and D’adderio.
Standard Strings are D’adderio EXL170 Round Wound. The Chrome Flatwound strings also seem to work fine.
